This year I decided to go to Disneyland Paris to celebrate my birthday! I was so impressed with how much the park(s) had improved last time I went that I knew it would be a fab place to celebrate a special day.
We had two days of travel and two days at Disneyland which was the perfect amount of time in my opinion.
Finding vegan food was difficult, especially in the Studio park, so please plan ahead if you don’t want to eat pasta/chips all day every day. Hopefully they will improve that in the future.
We had a great time, watching shows, browsing the shops and going on rides. One piece of advice, don’t go on Crush’s coaster, IT IS DEATH. I expected such a lovely ride taking me on a journey with nemo and friends down the EAC but nooooo, all in the dark, all fast and jerky, it was a nightmare! I was so pale and shaky afterwards XD BE WARNED!
A break down of our travels.
Our journey began in Bridlington, East Yorkshire. We took a Northern Rail train to Doncaster, a Virgin East Coast train from there to London Kings Cross, walked over to London St Pancras (it’s literally over the road), then hopped on a Eurostar to Lille, and finally changed to a TGV train from there to Disneyland Paris! We set off at 7am and arrived at 5pm local time.
We had a 20 minute walk to our Ibis which was fine but SO COLD. Luckily the lovely receptionist told us the RER train, which was directly outside the hotel, took 3 minutes to get to Disneyland, cost 1.95 euros each way and left every 10 minutes. So handy! We used that everyday it was so easy and we were tired from walking around the parks all day. I cannot recommend that hotel more for somewhere to stay if you’re going to Disneyland.
Our journey home was pretty much the same but in reverse and it all went nice and smoothly π
Here is the vlog of my trip! If you have any questions about anything let me know <3
